All Star Driver Education has been helping Hilliard teens and new drivers earn their license with patience, professionalism, and a curriculum built around real roads — not just textbooks.
Located at 5100 Davidson Rd in Hilliard, All Star Driver Education was founded on a simple belief: every young driver deserves a calm, supportive environment where they can learn at their own pace.
Our instructors are certified, patient, and familiar with the roads, intersections, and traffic patterns that Hilliard teens will actually drive on — from I-70 on-ramps to the busy corridors around Olentangy High School. We don't rush. We build habits.
Whether your teen is a complete beginner or needs a refresher before their road test, we tailor each lesson to their comfort level and goals.
A state-approved curriculum covering traffic laws, road signs, hazard recognition, and the responsibilities that come with a license. Perfect for teens who need the classroom component for their permit.
One-on-one lessons in a dual-controlled vehicle with a certified instructor. We start with the basics — steering, braking, signaling — and progress to parallel parking, highway merging, and night driving.
Need to log hours but prefer to practice yourself? We offer supervision and guidance for parent-led driving practice, ensuring you cover all the skills needed before the DMV road test.
There are plenty of driving schools in central Ohio. Here's why Hilliard families keep choosing All Star:
We train on the actual roads your teen will drive — Davidson Rd, US-33, the I-270 corridor — not some distant suburb.
Every behind-the-wheel lesson is one student, one instructor. Maximum attention, maximum progress per session.
School schedules, sports, jobs — we work around yours. Early morning and Saturday slots are available.
We know learning to drive is nerve-wracking. Our instructors are trained to keep things relaxed and encouraging.
Reach out at (800) 967-7719 or stop by 5100 Davidson Rd. We'll assess your teen's experience level and recommend the right program.
Whether online or in-person, your teen finishes the state-required classroom portion and receives their certificate.
Schedule your lessons. We build confidence gradually — city streets first, then highways, then the skills that appear on the road test.
We'll help you schedule the DMV exam and provide a pre-test check ride so your teen walks in confident and prepared.
"My daughter was terrified of driving before she started with All Star. By the end of her lessons, she was merging onto I-70 without a second thought. The instructor made all the difference."
"The scheduling was incredibly flexible. We could book evening lessons after my son's baseball practice. He passed his road test on the first try — we couldn't be happier."
"I was nervous about the whole process, but All Star made it straightforward. They explained everything clearly, and the instructor was patient and encouraging the entire time."
Most of our students begin behind-the-wheel training when they hold a valid learner's permit, typically around age 15½–16. Contact us to discuss your teen's specific situation and Ohio's requirements.
